What it says

The truck boiled over yesterday on the way up, just short of Tomahawk. R. saw the needle climbing, pulled onto the shoulder, opened the hood, and stood back from it with his arms folded. A tow to Woodruff, to Darrell Maki, who had the water pump out and a new one in by four o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. We ate lunch out of the cooler in his waiting room, with a calendar from 2019 and a very old Labrador. Tuesday was forty-seven years. We had the weekend before it in Ephraim, room 6. I had Hannah's painting of the dock framed for it, in plain oak, and R. has hung it on the cabin porch.
