What it says
Ingrid Solheim was here yesterday, eight years after the first time. Fifteen pieces. She remembered Mom's ring before I had it out of the box.
The sapphire was new to her. She turned it under the lamp for some time and asked who had chosen it. I said my husband, by himself. She said, "He has an eye," and R., who was pretending to read the paper in the next room, turned a page rather loudly.
Carl's cufflinks she would not put a figure on.
