What it says
The Fourth, fourteen of us, hot. Two loon chicks this year, both riding.
Hannah set up an easel at the end of the dock on Friday evening and painted until she could not see: the dock itself going out into the water, and the far shore, and the light that comes at about eight. R. looked at it for a long time and asked whether he could buy it. She said it was not for sale, and then that it was for us.
Yesterday morning Birdie found a lure that had been left on the dock overnight and got a treble hook through her lip. The emergency vet in Minocqua, a little something to make her drowsy, the barb snipped, and she was home by ten wanting breakfast. Lucas, whose lure it was, did not eat any. He came and told his grandfather himself. R. said, "Now you know why there's a rule."
Ellen has the last week of the month to themselves. David took the third week of June.
