Why it exists

mismatch The 2026 valuables schedule lists the sapphire ring at $4,600, its 2017 purchase price. Every other item was updated to the September 2024 appraisal, which values the ring at $6,800. The ring is under-insured by $2,200. The appraisal is right about the value; the schedule is right about what is insured.

Story, 2017-08-12: Ray buys the sapphire ring for their 40th anniversary.

Story, 2024-09-17: The jewelry is reappraised. The valuables schedule is updated that December, except for one ring.
