The sapphire ring went to Hartwig & Daughters yesterday for its six-month inspection. Anna Hartwig looked at every prong under the glass, cleaned it and signed the card. All tight. The next is due by March 1, 2027. I have not missed one since 2017 and the care plan stands.
While I was there: the worn prong on my engagement ring, which Ingrid pointed out two years ago, has been retipped at last. $85.00.
