What it says
My Medicare began yesterday, April 1.
1. Parts A and B: the card came in February. It is in the bedroom safe and I carry a photocopy.
2. Supplement: Aldergate, Plan G. Plan F, which Ray has, is closed to anyone who became eligible this year or after. I pay the Part B deductible myself once a year and he does not.
3. Drug plan: Corliss Rx, the same as Ray's.
4. Teeth: a two-person dental plan from Plover. One card for both of us.
5. The school district's Kettlestone plan ended for me on March 31. The old card is kept for claims from before.
The "Welcome to Medicare" visit will have to wait until Dr. Raghavan is seeing people in person.
