Masks. My count as of today: 214, in five weeks.
The pattern:
- Two rectangles of tight quilting cotton, 9 x 6 inches, right sides together.
- Three pleats, half an inch deep, all facing down.
- A channel across the top for a nose wire (the garden twist-ties work; pipe cleaners rust).
- Ties, not elastic. Four ties of bias tape, 16 inches each, or strips cut from T-shirts.
Ray says: ice out today, April 25.
