What it says
Gus has stopped doing the loop. He walks to the corner, stands, and looks back at the house, and I take him home. He was thirteen last month. Dr. Aylward says the hips are bone on bone.
R. built him a ramp over the back steps on Thursday: treated lumber, a non-slip surface, at a slope he calculated. It took him forty minutes, and he did not say one word while he did it. Gus uses it.
