What it says
Bone density scan this morning, the first I have had, and the result this afternoon by telephone: osteoporosis, in the spine. The hip is merely thin. I asked what it means in plain terms. It means that if I fall I am more likely to break. Mom lost four inches by the end and never broke a thing. R. went round the house this evening looking at the rugs.
Dr. Niemczyk says a pill once a week from May, calcium, vitamin D, and walking, which I do already.
