What it says
R. caught a musky yesterday evening off the rock bar on the north shore, fishing with Arnie in the Lund. Forty-four inches by the tape on the gunwale. Arnie got the net under it, R. held it for the length of one photograph, and it went back. He has fished this lake for twelve summers for that fish.
I have the photograph: both of them grinning, Arnie's thumb over a corner of the lens. He was awake until midnight, telling it.
