What it says
So it's real, and it has a name, and it comes with two pens in a yellow tube that go everywhere he goes for the foreseeable rest of his life.
I did what I do. I wrote the note, made the list of who needs to be told, called the school nurse before the allergist's parking lot. Marcus read the action plan twice and then went and threw out half the pantry without being asked, which is how I know he's scared too.
Ivy is fine. She asked if she's still allowed to like the thing he can't have. I said yes, at school, and she said "I'll like it quietly."
Eli wanted to know if the pen hurts. I said a little, like a shot. He said "okay" and went back to his trains.
