Jonah's band is actually good, which was a relief for all three of us in the car, we'd rehearsed faces. he looks ten years older and very happy. he lives above a bait shop.
this morning we walked out on the breakwater in a wind that took Priya's hat. the lake doesn't look like a lake. it looks like a decision. I'm doing the cover for a book about it for Odette and I stood there thinking I've been drawing it too friendly.
Dez slept the whole way home with his head on the banana.
the four of us haven't been in a room together since Halloran. nobody said so.
