Colleen looks like dad around the eyes when she's listening. she asked about Jiichan's fall before I brought it up, so dad must have told her, so it's a bigger deal than Hana said.
the squash with miso butter was all gone. Marcel's sister asked for the recipe and I said "squash, miso, butter" and she wrote that down.
it started snowing at eight. I drove home at thirty miles an hour on the river road with the window cracked because the defroster only does the bottom half. first real snow. the car was fine. I talked to it the whole way.
