What it says
Hana is 23 today. called her at lunch her time. she got the job at the animal hospital, the real one with the surgery suite, not the clinic in the strip mall, and she starts the first week of december. she was eating a burrito in her car and crying a little and telling me about a dog named Kevin.
I'm so proud of her I don't know where to put it. she's the one who stayed. I left at eighteen and call on sundays and she drives Obaachan to the eye doctor.
she also said, at the end, fast, that Jiichan fell in the garden last week. not hurt. he was reaching for a persimmon and the ladder went. mom didn't tell me because "there's nothing you can do from there."
