Ray retires January 29. The health insurance, per the district benefits office this morning:
- He comes off the Brennecke & Voss plan on January 31.
- He goes onto mine, Kettlestone, as my spouse, from February 1. I filled in the form today. They need a letter from his firm giving the last day of his coverage. ASK HIM TO ASK THEM.
- He stays on mine until his Medicare starts at 65 (May 2018).
- When I retire, the district lets retirees stay in the group at our own cost until Medicare.
Dental: his ends too. Dr. Aumann's office says a cleaning is $118 without insurance.
Life insurance through the firm ends. He has his own whole life policy.
