What it says
Arnie has been moved from the hospital to the rehabilitation wing, still in Wausau. He will be there three weeks at the least. He can stand with a frame and two people. The speech is all there. He told R. on Monday that the food is institutional and that the fish in it has never seen a lake.
R. does not talk about it. He is quieter than after Don, if that is possible. Arnie is four years older than he is; the stent is six years old. Yesterday evening he took the Lund out alone to the rock bar and sat there for two hours and did not, I think, put a line in.
He has driven down three times in five days, an hour and a half each way. In between he has mowed their grass, pulled Arnie's boat off the lift and covered it, and taken down their dock flag and put it back up when Bev said to leave it.
