What it says

The book club has a new member as of this month, Margie Fitzsimmons. She sat down in Lorraine's chair at Ruth's, looked round, and said, "I think I've taken somebody's place." Helen said yes, and that she was welcome to it. Eleven new windows at the cabin as of Friday, every one but the kitchen's. The old ones were 1958, single glass with a storm, and rattled in a west wind. These do not rattle. R. went from room to room on Friday night opening and shutting each with two fingers. Nate's crew took nine days.
