What it says

Forty-five years yesterday, in Ephraim, room 6, which we had not seen since before the stent. R. cannot do the shore trail with his knee, so we drove to the places we used to walk to, and sat. The knee will be replaced on November 8, by Dr. Rasmusson. R. asked him what the part is made of and was given a brochure. Lorraine and Hal were with us at the cabin for the first week of the month. On the pontoon she said she had spent thirty years telling children that the ending is not the most important part of a book, and that she would like to go on believing it. Her scan in April was clean and the one in July was clean. Her hair has come back gray and curly, which it never was. She swam every morning.
