What it says
The spot on my nose came off yesterday. Dr. Brodzinski takes a layer, looks at it under the microscope, and comes back for more if he has to. He came back once. Then nine stitches, tucked along the crease. It is the ordinary kind, the kind you get from fifty summers on the water without a hat.
The grandchildren arrive in two weeks.
