What it says

Thanksgiving, with Ellen's four and all of David's. Maeve is five and reads. She read the place cards aloud, then the label on the cranberry can, then asked for something longer, and I took her up to the shelf in the back bedroom and let her choose. I have decided to send her a book on the first of every month, and told her so, and she wrote it on her hand. I am on a pill for blood pressure as of this month. R. made room on the shelf. He said, "It's the grandchildren." David is spending tomorrow putting wireless boxes all over the house so that the signal reaches the den.
