What it says
Gus has not eaten since yesterday morning. He could not get up the ramp last night, and R. carried him in. Today he has lain on the rug by the back door with his eyes following us and has had a little water from my hand.
R. has not left the kitchen all day. He is cleaning his reels, on newspaper, on the floor, where Gus can see him.
I telephoned the clinic. Dr. Aylward will come to the house Monday at four.
