What it says

Physical yesterday. Sugar's up. Pressure's up. Weight's up. Dr. Kemp turned her stool around and asked who's looking after me. I said the dog. She didn't laugh. She said she sees this, people my age who look after a parent and turn up in her office five years later with the parent's chart. She said I've got my mother's A1c from fifteen years ago. I told her I'd walk. She said that's what I told her last year. I can name all sixteen of Mom's medicines and the dose. I had to look at the bottle to tell Kemp what I take.
