What it says

Signed the powers of attorney yesterday. The lawyer took Mom in her office alone first and shut the door, and I sat in the waiting room like a suspect. That's the right way to do it. Mom signed with her good pen. Her hand shakes some now but it's still the signature off every permission slip I ever carried to school. So now I can sign her name with mine after it. My back went out moving her bed.
