What it says
full sketches went in yesterday, a day early. fourteen spreads, three singles. seven weeks of pencil.
today I didn't know what to do with my hands. I cleaned the scanner. I rode to the falls. I came home and re-hung the pictures on the wall a quarter inch to the left.
first rent at the new number went out on the first. 1,150. it left without ceremony. I'd built it up so much in march and it turns out fifty-five dollars is just fifty-five dollars when the month isn't on fire.
the spread I can't stop looking at is the year going by. the notebook on the windowsill in four seasons and the red jacket on its hook. I don't know if it works.
