What it says
Kettlebird is delivered. all eight finals and the template handed over yesterday at the roastery, on a drive, and then again by email because I don't trust drives.
Rashid paid the second 2,100 before I'd left the building. he does that. he holds up the phone to show you.
Tomas had printed the killdeer at bag size and taped it to the roaster. he said "I've changed my mind about the bittern. it's the best one. don't tell the killdeer."
4,200 dollars, start to finish, ten weeks. what I notice is that I'm not relieved, I'm sad it's over. I liked those birds. I liked having a reason to stand under a wire by the creek at seven in the morning.
the card is down to 480, the lowest it's been since 2023. I looked at the number for a while.
