What it says
Coldwater Bluffs opened the marsh loop today. nine signs on nine posts with my drawings on them, outdoors, in weather, at the height of a seven-year-old.
I stood at the back and watched a kid put her whole hand flat on the heron and then look up and across the water at the rookery and then back at the sign. that's it. that's the job. that's the entire job.
Marit introduced me to the board as "the artist who asked more questions than the fourth graders." a board member asked if the turtle really breathes like that. Marit said yes before I could.
second half of the fee is invoiced. 1,675. it's already spoken for (card, june rent, the loan).
