What it says
sent the nine Coldwater sketches yesterday, on the day they were due, not after. Marit wrote back in an hour: "the beaver is perfect. the heron's neck is right. the wood duck is facing the wrong way for the nest box but I love him." one out of nine facing the wrong way is the best ratio of my career.
spent today on the beaver for no reason, it was already done. I just wanted to. first time since january I've drawn past the point where I had to.
the ice went off Nokomis this week. rode around it after work. a guy was standing on the dock with a thermos just looking at the open water like it was something he'd been waiting for.
