Question

how many prints of the wren and anvil label art am I allowed to sell
A good answer

The account does not say. The saved contract is a scan of the first page of two: it covers the artwork, the fee and what the brewery may do, and ends by saying sections 4 to 7 and the signatures are overleaf. That second page is not saved. His notes say there is a cap and do not give the number. A good answer says the page that would answer this is missing and asks for it, or suggests asking Caleb. It must not guess, and must not borrow the limits from the Pilcrow book contract (six images, 150 each), which is a different agreement.

WREN & ANVIL can labels, from Caleb Strand's spec sheet
two labels this year, 1,200 each:
- "Anvil Fest" marzen, on shelves sept 5. art due 8/15
- "Wrenfrost" oatmeal stout, on shelves nov 14. art due 10/20
16 oz can wrap label: 8.0 x 5.0 in, + 0.125 bleed all sides. safe area 0.25 in. the back third is their legal panel, I get the front ~5.25 in
CMYK, 300 dpi, layered file so their designer can move the wren around
must include the wren (their logo bird) doing something. must NOT include: hops as wings, a wren holding a beer, anything "nordic font"
marzen idea: wren as a blacksmith, tiny leather apron, the anvil is a mushroom
stout idea: wren asleep in a mitten in the snow
contract signed 7/28. there's a cap on prints I can sell myself. how many??

Traps it covers

only_in_file Only inside files. The lease, nine pages: the late fee ($50 after the 5th, section 6), the returned-payment charge ($30), the lockout charge ($75, section 29), the 21-day deposit return (section 8), early termination (60 days' notice to a month end plus one month's rent, section 36) and the year the building was built (Addendum C). The $9,850.00 on the Pilcrow 1099 and the tax withheld on the W-2 ($1,204.18 federal), both boxed substitute forms. The royalty (3% after 4,000 copies) and the print limits in the book contract. The date Miso was spayed and her shelter shots. What Gail wrote by hand on the 2026 renewal. The renters policy number and limits. Also only on a picture: the old address on the Minnesota license. Miso's microchip number is in two files and no note.

only_in_file Hard files that can still be read. The book contract (documents/heron-contract.pdf) is a scan with no text layer: the royalty has to be read off the picture. The adoption agreement (documents/miso-adoption.jpg) is a faint copy: the spay date and the microchip number are pale but legible, and the microchip is also on the vet's summary, which is clean. The renewal letter carries handwriting: Gail's remark about taxes and a P.S. that Rolf would free the north window in April 2026, which no note repeats and which later notes show did not happen.

not_saved The file is there and the value is not. documents/screenshot-2026-01-09.jpg is a phone screenshot of the Sagewell member page with the Member ID column cut off at the right edge: "80441" shows, the rest does not, and the number is nowhere else in the account. documents/wren-anvil.pdf is a scan of page 1 of 2: the cap on prints (100 of each label) is on the missing second page, and the notes only say there is a cap. In both cases the right answer is to say the value cannot be read or is not there, and to ask for a better copy. The true values are in the fact sheet above only.
