What it says

Why I am doing this: the furnace. It quit on December 29 and neither of us could put a hand on the warranty. Inducer motor, $386.40. The paper turned up on January 3 in the cookbook cupboard. It ran out in 2001, all but the heat exchanger. Everything goes in here from now on. Insurance policies first, then warranties and the receipts that go with them, then the doctors and the medicines. Start a furnace fund.
