The cabin, Skein Lake
note-cabin-opening-2019
What it says
Opened May 4.
The steps: a second handrail, so there is one on each side now; grit strips on all five treads; a light over them on a motion switch.
The two pines leaning over the boathouse: Arvo Heikkinen will take them in June and cut them to stove length. $475 for the two, stumps left at about two feet.
No mice, one dead bat in the fireplace, feeders up.
