The Bernina, bought yesterday at Stitchery Lane. Model 570 QE, with the embroidery module. $3,499.00 plus $192.45 tax, $3,691.45, by cheque. What comes with it: - Six classes, free. I have signed up for the first three: Getting to Know Your Machine (July 11), Feet and Stitches (July 18), Free-Motion Quilting (August 8). - The walking foot, the quarter-inch foot with the guide, the free-motion foot with the stitch regulator, the extension table, the knee lift. - Warranty: 20 years on the mechanical parts, five on the circuit board, two on the electrical. Only if the shop does the servicing. The Kenmore (1983) is going to the church quilters.
