What it says
Last day of school, my thirtieth at Tamarack Hill. I went to Patricia's office at 3:30 and told her that next year will be the last. She said she had been afraid of that since R. retired, and then asked whether I would stay through the spring book fair, and I said of course, as if I had been thinking of leaving in March.
So it is said. I walked through the stacks before I left.
