Question

Stitchery Lane wants the Bernina's serial number for the service card.
A good answer

B57-4418206 is what the sewing machine's record has. Her note of March 2023 has B57-4481206, the same digits with two of them the other way round. Nothing saved says which one was copied wrongly. The best answer gives the record's number, points out that the note differs, and suggests reading it off the plate under the machine. Giving the record's number alone is acceptable. Giving only the note's number is not.

B57-4418206

Traps it covers

note_contradicts_record The note copies the Bernina's serial number as B57-4481206, with two digits swapped. The record has B57-4418206. The record is right.
