Question

What is the earliest the ice has ever gone out on Skein Lake, and the latest?
A good answer

Earliest March 14, 2024; latest May 12, 2013, in Ray's log, which runs from 2004 (that first date taken from the previous owner's calendar). The log is typed out in one note through 2024, and a later note adds April 24, 2025 and April 19, 2026, neither of which changes the answer.

March 14May 12

Traps it covers

only_in_note Facts that are still only in one everyday note after the second pass: the Gustafsons' gate code, the shed padlock, where the Christmas ornaments are, the dog's food and amount, Ray's sizes, the ice-out log from 2004, the main water shutoff, the septic alarm light, Hannah's dorm room, the way to the cabin, the lefse proportions, each lot's share of the plowing, and the size of the lake bedroom's screen. These were not scrubbed from other records on purpose; they are simply things written down once.
