Question

Hannah is looking after Birdie for the weekend. What does she eat, and how much?
A good answer

Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Adult, chicken and rice, measured with the blue scoop - 1 1/4 cups in the morning and 1 1/4 cups at night, and one biscuit a day. That is the amount since April 2026, when the vet found her two pounds over. The April 2021 note says 1 1/2 cups twice a day and two biscuits; it is the older one, and a good answer gives the current amount.

1 1/4

Birdie, annual visit yesterday. Seven years old. 68 lb, which Dr. Aylward calls "two pounds of treats too many."

NEW AMOUNTS:
- 1 1/4 cups in the morning and 1 1/4 cups at night. Two and a half cups a day, down from three. Same food (Pro Plan Large Breed Adult, chicken and rice), same blue scoop; I have drawn a line on the scoop.
- ONE biscuit a day. Carrots and green beans without limit.
- Nothing from the table. Nothing from the fish-cleaning bench.
- Weigh her again in July on the clinic's scale.

Heartworm test negative. Teeth good. Three shots: lepto, Lyme and kennel cough. Rabies is not due until next April.

The six-month box of chewables came home with us; the next is to be ordered in October.

Birdie: annual visit yesterday. 64 lb; Dr. Aylward asked me to hold it.

What she eats:
- Purina Pro Plan, the Large Breed ADULT kind, chicken and rice. The purple bag, 34 lb.
- 1 1/2 cups in the morning (7:00) and 1 1/2 cups at night (5:00), measured with the blue scoop that lives in the bin.
- Two biscuits a day at most. A carrot is free.
- Never: grapes, raisins, chocolate, onions, anything with the sugar substitute in it.

Heartworm test negative. The monthly chewable on the 1st. Rabies is good until spring 2024.
Traps it covers

only_in_note Facts that are still only in one everyday note after the second pass: the Gustafsons' gate code, the shed padlock, where the Christmas ornaments are, the dog's food and amount, Ray's sizes, the ice-out log from 2004, the main water shutoff, the septic alarm light, Hannah's dorm room, the way to the cabin, the lefse proportions, each lot's share of the plowing, and the size of the lake bedroom's screen. These were not scrubbed from other records on purpose; they are simply things written down once.
