A good answer

The journal does not say. In October 2016, in the week she was waiting on the biopsy, she got thirty pages in, saw what she was doing and left it on the hall table with the bookmark in it: "Not this week." It is never mentioned again. A good answer says she set it aside and that nothing shows she went back to it.

I picked up "When Breath Becomes Air" at Paper Birch on Saturday because Connie had praised it, got thirty pages in, and saw what I was doing. It is on the hall table with the bookmark in it. Not this week. Since Friday R. has rehung the storm door, fixed the latch on the gate again, and sharpened every knife in the house. I cut myself on the bread knife this morning.

I picked up "When Breath Becomes Air" at Paper Birch on Saturday because Connie had praised it, got thirty pages in, and saw what I was doing. It is on the hall table with the bookmark in it. Not this week.
