Picked Nora up from Sycamore Bend this morning. A whole week, no phone, first time away from all of us.
She smelled like a campfire and a lake and she talked the entire ninety minutes home. Cabin Chickadee won the canoe thing. She used her inhaler twice and told the nurse herself. She wrote us one letter, which arrived Thursday and said, in full, "Camp is good. Food is ok. Tell Biscuit hi."
The twins had the house rearranged into two kingdoms while she was gone.
