What it says

We went to see Mormor this morning before the turkey. She's smaller every time. She didn't know the twins' names, and she called Nora "Karen" twice. But she knew me. She held my hand and said, in English and then in Norwegian, that I looked tired, and was I eating. Ivy put her drawing on the windowsill with the others. There are a lot of them now. The nurse said she looks at them. I think this was the last Thanksgiving. I don't know why I'm sure but I am.
