How many miles are on the Civic?

Question

A good answer

About 93,600. The mileage log stops at 78,420 on November 2, 2024; the newest figure in the account is on the August 29, 2026 service receipt, 93,610. A good answer gives the 2026 figure with its date and does not present the 2024 reading as current.

93,610

Traps it covers

not_saved Sections she does not keep up. The mileage log has seven readings in eight years and stops in November 2024 for the Civic (78,420) and September 2025 for the Outback (48,690). Nine service receipts are saved out of about two dozen visits, with gaps of a year or two. Six electronics, seven bills and five warranties are there because something prompted her that day. A total or a "latest" taken from these sections is a floor or is stale: the Civic's newest odometer figure is on the August 2026 service receipt (93,610), not in the mileage log.

note_contradicts_record The Civic's last mileage reading (78,420, November 2024) is contradicted by the August 2026 service receipt (93,610 in its remarks and on its picture). The receipt is right; the log is stale.
