What it says
She fell last night getting out of the shower. Alone, no pendant. Nothing broken. I got to the ER at 9:30 and she was on a gurney in the hall holding her own purse.
I yelled at her. In the car, after. I said what is the point of any of this if you take the thing off. I said do you want to end up in a home. She didn't say anything. She looked out the window. When we got to her house she said, "I just wanted to be clean for the Fourth."
I put in the second grab bar this morning and she brought me a glass of tea while I was drilling, and patted my back, and went back in.
She's forgotten I yelled. I haven't.
