What it says
Christmas at Mom's. Her TV died on the 22nd, so that's what she got, two days late. Cam made the breakfast casserole. Mom set four places and then stood there, and Cam took the fourth plate and put it back in the cabinet without a word.
Russ called at two. Ten minutes.
Russ had a case made for the flag and mailed it. Walnut, with Dad's name on a brass plate. She held it a long time. Then she said Walter would have wanted to know what it cost.
