Why it exists

same_name Father and son are both Walter Eugene Pruitt; only "Jr." and the birth dates differ, and both passports read Walter Pruitt. The estate papers name one as the deceased and the other as informant and executor. The contact for the father is called "Dad" and says only that he died on 11/9/2022. Lorraine sometimes calls Walt "Walter". "My" always means the son.

Story, 2022-11-09: Walter Sr. dies at home, aged 81. Walt is executor, and starts using the app the next morning. The estate closes in August 2023.
