What it says

a book of my own, maybe a kid sorting screws into jars on a workbench. every page the jars are fuller. the grandfather's hands at the edge of each page, never his face. last page the jars are all poured back in the can and the kid starts again and knows. title: The Screw Jar? no. Forty-One Steps? something w/ counting. don't show anyone yet. don't make it sad on purpose. he wasn't sad.
