What it says

starting this again. I kept one on Wexcombe for about a month and then stopped because everything I wrote was about Maren and then about not-Maren. it's october now and I've been in this apartment since june and I think I can write about other things. the radiators came on today. first hiss of the year at about four, while I was inking, and Miso went and sat in front of the one in the bay like it was a television. Gail said october first and the building decided the sixth. the wrist is fine. two months since the crash on the Greenway (a kid on a scooter, a wet leaf, me in the air thinking very clearly "not the right hand"). it was the left. it clicks when I turn a wrench but it doesn't hurt. I can hold the tablet again without thinking about it. what I want from this: just to know what happened. I get to december every year and can't say what the year was. Jiichan writes one line on the kitchen calendar every day. "rain." "Theo called." "37 persimmons."
