Question

is my renters insurance paid up
A good answer

The account cannot confirm it. The newest paper saved is a Lanternhouse declarations page for June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026 (policy LH-R20-5590318, $148 paid in June 2025, amended that September after the bike claim). That period has ended. A note from January 2025 lists the policy as $148 a year in June, and the lease requires him to carry it, but no receipt, note or newer declarations shows the June 2026 renewal. A good answer says what the saved page covers, says the current year is not documented, and suggests checking with Lanternhouse. It must not state that he is covered, or that he is not.

THE SURLY IS GONE. back stairwell, locked to the railing w/ the U-lock, sometime between 11pm fri and 8am sat. they cut the RAILING. left the lock.
- police report filed online: case MP-25-218846
- Gail: bikes aren't supposed to be in the stairwell (lease). the bike room was full
- Lanternhouse claim opened sat: claim LH-CL-0092731. they want proof of value: I have the shop receipt for the frame (2022) and can price the parts
- value I claimed: 880 (cross-check frame + wheels + rack + dynamo light + fenders, used prices)
8/22: adjuster called. policy covers theft from the building. 880 minus 500 deductible = 380. that's it.
8/29: 380 landed in checking.
registered the serial w/ the bike index too late. do it for the next one FIRST.

Traps it covers

only_in_file Only inside files. The lease, nine pages: the late fee ($50 after the 5th, section 6), the returned-payment charge ($30), the lockout charge ($75, section 29), the 21-day deposit return (section 8), early termination (60 days' notice to a month end plus one month's rent, section 36) and the year the building was built (Addendum C). The $9,850.00 on the Pilcrow 1099 and the tax withheld on the W-2 ($1,204.18 federal), both boxed substitute forms. The royalty (3% after 4,000 copies) and the print limits in the book contract. The date Miso was spayed and her shelter shots. What Gail wrote by hand on the 2026 renewal. The renters policy number and limits. Also only on a picture: the old address on the Minnesota license. Miso's microchip number is in two files and no note.

not_saved Things the account leaves open, where the right answer is that nothing confirms it. The newest renters declarations cover June 2025 to June 2026, so the current year is undocumented. The flight for Kofi's wedding was "not booked, book when Burr Oak pays"; Burr Oak paid and nothing follows. The last credit card balance is from 2026-03-31. The crown, Gerald's pan, the pro deal and the question for Deb are intentions with nothing after them. Receipts exist for three of 2025's work expenses, not enough for a year's total.
